I searched and didn't find any topics on it but on cold days should you warm your subs up? Play them at low volumes forf awhile then staart to turn them up? The cold days are ahead for me in Chicago and just always wondered if warming them up was necessary?

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

If your subs are made by Sony, I've found that the best way to warm them up is with a blow torch.  Take them out of your car, set them on the ground away from any vehicle or building, then torch the little buggers.  Best thing you can do for them, IMO.  posted_image
