what kind of subwoofer would you recommend for a single 300w rms cvr104 4ohm sub? i sold this speaker to a friend and dont know what agood amp would be for a low price?

Um...that Alpine would only push 220 watts to it...his sub is a single 4 ohm coil.

A Diamond D3600.1 would work great for that as well.

thanks for the responses. the cvr104 is dual voice coil speaker, that means i can wire it so that the amp recieves a 2ohm load, righT?

Yes...I'm just not a fan of pushing amps to their limits

Find a amp in your budget that is designed to operate at 2 ohms mono (normally a mono amp), it should provide between 200 and 400w rms of power when connected to a 2 ohm load. JBL CS300.1 is a nice little amp for this, same with the Concept CA275M. ------------- Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
