I'm installing a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP with the Scosche GM1593B (displays computer info that stock radio used to) on a new 2007 pontiac G6. The Scosche interface is simple to install and I installed the pioneer deck and it works. However, because the wire harness sold for the G6 does not have any illumination/dimmer wires, the aftermarket deck has no way of dimming at night and therefore is super bright all the time. Is there a way to tap into a wire somewhere else on the car and connect it to the illumination wire on the pioneer deck to allow it to dim when the headlights go on? Thanks in advance.

Eric

You can locate the parking light wire in the vehicle and use that.
