I am new to these forums so please be gentle.
Currently I am running a Pinoneer 6800 head, MTX TC4004 amp and 2 12" Blitz audio subs. In my '05 Chevy Silverado.
I want to run 2 Kicker L78's with the MTX amp, but I would really like to run 2 MTX amps to power the subs.
(i.e. Amp->Amp->Subs)
My question is how can/should I wire this setup. I am not new to the whole audio install, but to the dual amp setup I am. Any help would gladly be appreciated.

Ok, so maybe I'm not the brightest crayon...
It's not difficult at all. Run a primary power cable to the back with a fused distribution block, and power the amps individually.
Signal from the deck to amp number one, a pair of RCAs from that amp to the next amp.
Now, connect each woofer to one amp. Done.
Your instruction manual will tell you which RCA jacks to use, but it won't be difficult at all. If you've installed one amp, you've installed 50. The only difference is tuning after the fact. Don't let it scare you off

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
Pass through is pass through...not sure how the strapping works though since if you are using the same inputs as normal, you would have to adjust for the proper gain on all subsequent amplifiers. Find instructions and read, then re-read.
