does anyone have info i need to install an aftermarket cd player (pioneer deh p-3800mp) in an 06' Montecarlo LT. Also if there is a pre drilled hole for running 4 guage wire through the firewall? just wanna make sure its gonna be simple like most other cars or is there something i should know? or maybe tips to help.

You need a radio replacement module to retain the integrity of the cars GM LAN data bus, chimes and Onstar (if equipped). They take all the mystery out of the install. You will have to find a manufacturer that has one for these new vehicles. There may not be one for your application yet, which means you need to relocate the original radio and hook up an extra speaker to hear the chimes.
