Hey man, you won't beat a CV stroker those things are almost indestrutable.  I was at a car audio db drag and I saw a truck blow 1 then 2 strokers and actually win the comp with 2 of 3 blown drivers.  They handle phenominal power.  The only down fall to them is the require a ton of airspace.  If I remember correctly the 15" strokers were about 3.5 - 4 cu ft per driver.  Hope this helps.

Indestructible yet he killed two of the three? posted_image

I've never heard or even seen one in person, so can't help you there. Would be nice to have something that you don't see everyday though.

I like the Strokers, but they do take a very large enclosure. If you have the space you'll love them.

the TC-3000 takes up about the same airspace...

Blowing up in a car accident doesnt worry me, as long as I'm putting out some major dB's when I die...

I started with 2 12" CV's now I have 2 15" CV's. IMO CV kicks some serious butt. Back when I bought mine the Stroker held the Db racing record. I will buy nothing else when it comes to subs. They do require a large enclosure and I port mine. The specs are 1.2 cubic foot for non ported and 3.0 cubic foot for ported. These are for the Stroker pro though. However it is the same volume requirement for the 12" I had.

by the way this isnt the stroker pros, those are really expensive. this is just for the regular strokers.

29mm one way linear. Motors are the same for the 10, 12, and 15. Two of the twelves would need 4000 rms watts. What are you going to do about that?

The tc 3000 15 will only take 1000watts to move 30mm one way linear. And IMO would be tough to beat, even by a stroker.

I dunno though if you could get 2 tc3000 12"s that's what I would do

yeah lol, i would need two 4k watt amps to power the strokers, with the money i would spend on that i could buy two of the tc-3k. in my opinion i think the strokers are kinda ugly, and i heard someone say they had a paper cone, not on this forum though. i want 2 of the 15" tc-3k but at the moment i can only afford one, i could get another one and an amp for christmas xD. i think i read on the tc site that you could build a 3ft cubic box but i was gonna build the spl 7ft^3 for my trunk. i could fit two of the 3ft^3 boxes for my trunk and power everything. with this setup though i would have to upgrade the big 3 and add a capacitor. that would be about 2000 watts rms and right now i only have ~320rms and my headlights flash under heavy bass. what do you guys think i should do, with the car that i have now, as is, there is no way i could run 4000 watts rms, so i would have to spend alot of money upgrading my alternator and buying a yellowcap. omg idk lol. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

welll sounds to me you need to start at the begining and work up...if you cant suffeciently power a 320watt amp, you are gonna have real problems with 2000, problems that lead to blown equipment

Look into a good hih output alt from companies like ohio generators, Irragi Alts, Powermaster, High OUtput Alts.   The upgrade your Big 3 then gel cell battery...then worry about getting 2000+ watts of power

they flash when i am really pushing my subs, i have on my highbeams, and i have on either my air or heat. the battery in my car is now acting up so i think it was that. that should work out good. what kind of battery should i get? and brands i should look at and what specs should i get.

either way you look at it.....if your looking at running 2000 watts or more, you need to upgrade the Alt.    On some large V8's they have a factory 140 amp   Imports in the 60-80 amp range.

You might as well start right so you can get the full potential of the expensive equipment....Why would you use a stock alt to power the whole system, but not use factory issue subwoofer?   Why?   Becasue they both Suck!
