Ok i bought a stinger sp2150 deep cycle battery used...I put it in my car and charged it with a generator, nothing...then i put my old battery in, started the car and swapped batteries and drove for 15min...nothing...the battery stays at 5v and wont charge...what am i doing wrong...dead battery?

Well...if its used...its prolly _ed...lol sorry man

Something is _ed up...did you not test the battery with a meter before you bought it???

i can get my money back...local and i know where he works/lives...im sure he will give me my money back but i want this battery...last resort is to give it back

I'd return it...It is probably damaged...either to deeply cycled or I dunno...But save up and get a brand new battery...that way you know there is a warranty

First thing I thought of was the battery had been near-completely discharged, and it's a good bet the thing is fubar'd. If he doesn't give you your money back, drop the battery on his head and then take the money back. He'll understand posted_image

::updated:: So  i got a battery charger and left it on for a night....the batter charged! and it held charge....just a heads up....thanks for all input
