I was just wondering what the rms power of this 2 channel amp is. On the JBL website all it says it 80 x 2 @ 2 ohms and 40 x 2 @ 4 ohms. It doesnt say whether this is peak power or rms power, can anyone help me please? thanks

JBL was really lax on their specs for these amps, but the 20 amp fuse is a good indicater that these are RMS ratings. The one I use certainly acts like it.

I have one of these pushing to kicker K60 door speakers. This thing does every bit of 20 WRMS. I would actually be surprised if it wasn't doing 30-40 RMS. It really makes the door speakers perform really well.
