I had a directed 1500d it did a lil less than it's rated wattage at 2 ohms. At 1 ohm it did what it was rated and had no problems overheating or protecting or anything like that. They make pretty solid amps. They sound as clean as most class d's and depending on the price they are an overall good deal.

Ike sound on the other hand i have seen many mixed reviews about. I bought my 1500d from there and it came with a factory warranty from directed for 60 days or 90 days or something. It was shipped in a timely manner so I had a good experience with them, but I have seen some other people that haven't had good experiences with them.
