hey guys its been a few years since my last post but I got a 05 cavalier z24....and I can't afford the deck I want....but I still have my sub and amp from my last vehical....I am lookin for a 12 volt wire I can use for my amp......and wholly crap the cramed that lil 2.2L motor in that engine bay wholly crap...anyways lemme know if anyone know what wire to use....ttyl....

What are you trying to use the 12 volt lead for??
Power wire?? Hell no
Amp turn on wire??
Hell you want a ground 12 volt constant???

no no man I got the power and the ground already in...... I just need to know what wire to use from for the 12 volt amp turn on.............I did it on my last car 02 sunfire.....until I could afford the deck I wanted.....and unfortunatly when I sold the car I lost all 4 my clarion pro audio speakers and my pioneer deck.....aso I am startin all over again.....but someone on here helped me out.....

Um...not sure but you can use a dmm to check the wires...whatever checks 12 volts whenever you turn the ignition

Check the pink wire with a dmm. I think the pink wire is the one you are looking for.

I think so too, On my girlfriends cavalier I just ran a wire from the fuse box (to a fused 12v switch) to the amp, and it works great.

If your factory system has an amp the turn on wire will be in cavity B3 (Pink wire). If it doesn't you can insert a wire and pin in the plug to get it to work.

thanks guys......I will check it out in a few....so how do I use my fuse box to do that.....cause all the wires runnin to my ignition are all wrapped and straped already...not like it matters but fuse might be my easiest wire..

I owned a 91 ss did the leg work and yeah, its the pink, gray is your illumination and brown is the dimmer.
