Hello,

I just joined, this is my first post, hope I don't wiz anyone off with my question, so here goes.

I own a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the infinity gold sound system. It now has a Sony Xplod HU which the previous owner installed in a redneck fashion with all sorts of goofy connectors mix matched together held in place with electrical tape and alot of exposed wire. I decided to fix that today and throw my Orion 225 HCCA in as well.(previous owner had one in it, but removed before he sold it, left wiring though). My question is, I hooked up the amp remote wire from my HU to both amp wires, but I am getting almost nothing from my amp and sub. The amp does come on, and the sub is getting power, but it just doesn't have the power going to it like it should. What am I doing wrong? Before I had the stock infinity amp wired up, the amp and sub functioned normal, now with the stock Infinity amp hookd up as well, I am having problems.

Well I finally got it figured out, sort of an operator error more than wiring problems:)

BTW, great sight. Lots of good info!!
