I have 2 tens and two twelves in my car with two amplifiers. i am 100% positive that i have all my wiring correct. the one amp works, but the other amp's protection light comes on everytime i turn it on. i took apart the amp, and i can't seem to find anything wrong with it. the amp is a soundstorm slade 900.2 2 ch amp. any help???

Impedance load too low, system voltage too low, or defective amp.

defective? NAH, soundstream never. what kind of subwoofers are you running and how many ohms/rms and what ohm are your subwoofers each?

       Your amplifier has shorted output transistors     you say you took it apart  and didin't see anything.   You will not be able to see this problem without an ohm meter of some sort.       Do you have one?
