I constructed the raido on untill door open relay setup found here.. The 12volt raido on until door open
Something did not work.
Is there something thats not on the diagram like grounding 87 or 87a?

Nothing missing, have used that diagram a number of times without a problem.  Are you sure you've got everything hooked up properly?

Everything is in the right place. I cant go test for it now but what if I have reverse polarity door triggers? How would I wire that?

in the diagram just ground 85 in the right hand relay, the + trigger door to 86......

Thanks man, thats what it was. The new problem is the massive pop that happens when I open the door. Any ideas on how to stop that?

        The relays are causing the pop you are hearing.   you need to put a diode across  85 and 86 on each of the relays. 

          I am sure there is some info on the relay page that will show you how to do it.   but if not  this is what you need to do.           Go to Radio Shack and get  2    1 amp diodes.   you need to connect them across 85 and 86  making sure to put the end with the ring around it on the positive wire     you need to put a diode on each relay.

Ok. I guess I need diodes on the acc wire also because when I checked it this morning I didnt start the engine. Now when I turn the key off the engine stays runnig until I open the door.

I have a 93 Ford Econoline E350 with a 5.8 v8. Just like the link I posted above shows, I t-taped my raidos accessory wire (yellow/black) and connected it to #86 and #87 on relay1. I t-taped my raidos constant 12+ (GREEN/ YELLOW) and connected it to #30 on relay1 and #86 on relay2. I jumped #85 on relay1 to #87a on relay2. I connected #30 on relay2 to ground and the door trigger (BLACK/ blue) to #85 on relay2.

That didnt work so I checked my door switch polarity and found it to be + so I moved the door trigger to #86 on relay2 and grounded #85.

Now it works but now the engine also stays on until I open the door (which is kinda amusing). So I was thinking that this Relay Diagram2 would fix the problem.

        Yep  it looks like you will need to use the latest diagram you were talking about   so now you will need 5 diodes   LOL    i would use  6 amp diodes for the ones in the acc wire   1 amp ones will be fine for the relays

all that for one feature i wouldnt even waste my time just keep the key in on acc.........
