i have a 2003 escalade with two jl 12w3v2's in a sealed box. one of the subs has begun to rattle real bad. i was wondering if it was because amp problems or if i blew the sub. i can still listen to the subs, but it has a noticeable rattle to it. i have a boston gt-22 amp, which i dont think is  enough power

need answers and advice.

When the sub makes a noise then it's usually the sub, not the amp. Especially if it's a "physical type" rattle coming from the sub.

The BA GT-22 is a 2-channel amp. How do you have it wired? Mono or stereo?

Also which ohm model 12W3V2's do you have? The 2, 4 or 6ohm versions?

i took the sub out of the box, and it looks like the seam has come undone from the actual sub.  so now when the sub moves it hits on the seam and makes rattling noise.

how can i fix it is the question.?
