im designing a new system for my new 2007 Saturn Ion3 sedan. i've come across some sweet deals but im having a hard time deciding which to go with. I'd appreciate some opinions.

1 pair of 10inch Boston Acoustics G5 series, dvc, brand new for about $400

1 pair of 12inch Infinity Kappa Perfect 12dVQ, brand new for about $400

1 pair of 10inch JL Audio 10W3v3 *and* a Boston Acoutics GT-22 amp *and* a pair of 16ft purple streetwires RCAs for $550

thanks for responding. i was thinking that it was a good deal as i would get what-appears-to-be a great amp (390w x 1 @ 2ohms rms, per BA website) plus a pair of good subs. the12volt had a topic posted in which the Kappa's got an excellent review when compared to the JL Audio w3. im sorta more inclined to take the Kappas over the BAcoustics. Kappa perfects i think have better SQ than Boston does, both subs and components/other speaks.

more opinions are welcomed.

I'd say the W3's as well. There was a major upgrade for the V3's, which use some of the same motor designs utilized in the W7. This linearized the motor quite a bit, reducing the distortion produced.

well that's 2 for the w3's.... anyone else? what do ppl think of the amp that's going with the w3 package, the boston gt-22? has anyone used this amp?

looks like we have a winner. thanks for the help with the speakers. i will go with the JL Audio deal. any thoughts on that amp offered in the deal, the Boston Acoustics GT-22? anyone used this amp?

i take that its a good amp then? I've always thought (and heard) that boston has a good rep. i've never used their products though.
