hi,
i have a kicker CVR10, 2ohm. one of the VC is bad, it makes weird sounds when its connected. however, without it connected it sounds good. one of my friends wants to buy it off of me, what kind of amp should i recommend for him? i was thinking something at 200watt rms stable at 2ohm? looking for something cheap that would still make it beat, thanks for any help.

Any mono amp putting out about 300 watts rms will do...using one voice coil will cut power handling down by about 20%.

I have my friends 12in Alpine Type R using one coil being fed about 400 watts and it does fine...

the sub is a 300rms DVC 2ohm kicker sub. i dont pay much attention to other specs, but im sure they are on the kicker site. i have two of these in my trunk, and i am still suprised by the bass they create.
