I put in my eclipse headunit into my 1997 explorer. I connected all the wires using an adapter kit. The head unit turns on and so does my cd changer but I have no sound. The OEM headunit works fine. I think there maybe a factory amp in this vehicle. I am not sure if I have to supply the amp with power off of the headunit. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The blue wire on the car at the end of the power plug needs a 12 volt turn on lead.

thanks. As it turns out there are 2 blue wires. I hooked up the wrong one. It is working now. Man that amp is louder then my 4 channel Diamond amp.
