I want to know where in chicago i can audition some good car audio. Things I've never heard but want to hear, sound boards are fine:

Polk sr
High end boston
Infinity kappa perfect
Any focal
JL 3ways
kicker resolutions
rockford rf's
diamond hex's
memphis' best comps
quart q's
crystal comps
cdt (do they even sell retail?)
eclipse comps
kenwood xxv's
alpine type x

and anything else you think is worth listening to! Can any of these be found in sound boards in chi town? Or anything a similar distance from the middle of illinois? All surrounding states I will drive to to listen. Help me out!!

Tweeter is all over Chicago. And they carry Focal JL Alpine and Polk and may still have some Boston left over...that knocks out a few of them right there.

if you want to hear some crazy cars that have jl systems in them, definatly take a drive out to music in motion in crestwood, they have done some of the craziest installs i have ever seen and the cars they make are just plain old loud. take a look at their website. musicinmotion.net and you can see for yourself.  like fastlerner said they are a bit on the pricey side, but you will get what you pay for from them.
