I'm looking at a TC Sounds LMS-5400 12" which is looking like a pretty good sub. I'm wondering if it would be offended if I fed it with a Hifonics BXI-2006. Would it rather get it's juice from a higher quality amp rated at a lower wattage?

Dont underpower it man. Go with a couple strappble amps if you cant afford the power you are looking for in one amp...I would feed that beast at least 3000wrms...

Blowing up in a car accident doesnt worry me, as long as I'm putting out some major dB's when I die...
