Having a problem with no audio on a 1995 mercury tracer.  OEM radio.

Ford, in its infinite wisom, installed the heater so you had to pull the entire dash to replace the heater core. Did so, when I got it back together, no speaker audio. Obviously, something didn't get connected in the re-installation of the dash. So, this weekend, I pulled it all back apart... and can't find anything not connected. :( Anyone have any wire routing information on the tracers? From the speakers, the wires seem to go up and behind the passenger side airbag, but I can't find where it goes from there... anyone have thoughts on where to look for the plugin I failed to make?

Any advice appreciated.

down in the passenger side kick panel on most ford vehicles there is a gray plug that among other things has the speakers plugged in to it I believe
