i just got my phoenix gold rsd 1200.1 amp is only 2 ohm stable i have 2 pioneer w306 dvc 12"4 ohm coils is it possible to wire for a 2 ohm load? only options i see are either 2 ohm or 8 ohm load for one sub.is there a way to wire 2 dvc subs with 4 ohm coils to be 2 ohm or do i need to buy new subs now to get full potential from amp...

Option 1 (parallel/parallel) = 1 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 1 ohm mono

Option 2 (series/parallel) = 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

You have 2 options....OR get new subs.
