wiring help?

hello there,

I am a little confused about wiring 4 infinity 6x9's and an orion 250sx.  Can anyone help me understand wiring ohms!!  Now ive read https://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm but im still confused... now the infinity's are 4ohm svc,  Now I wan tto run 2 on each channel on the 250sx 2 channel amp..

now if I wire the left channel to 2 ohms, and the right channel to 2ohms will the amp see 4ohm load in stereo?  If not could someone point me in the right direction..

so basically im looking to get a 2 channel amp wired to 4ohms using both channels not bridging, with 4 4ohm speakers..

2ND QUESTION is 4ohm easier on an amp than 2 ohm??

First of all just worry about what the amp is stable to, don't worry about what the amp will see if it is bridged or if it is stereo, that is why the specs tell you what the amp is stable at.  Generally if an amp is stable to two ohms stereo then it will be stable at 4 ohms bridged.  If you run 2 4ohm speakers on each channel stereo then you will be safe if the amp is rated at 2 ohms stereo( and yes the amp will see a total load of 4 ohms but that doesn't matter for the most part).  As for the second question the answer is usually yes 4 ohms is easier on an amp then 2 ohms because the amp doesn' have to work as hard.  Also I am sure others will have their own oppinion but this is mine and is less confusing.

thanks for the answer, I was just trying to get the most wattage out of the amp.....  because it said 100 @4 ohm and 50 whats @ 2ohm..  so all im trying to do is get the most wattage out of the amp...

so let me ask this,  If someone has a 4channel amp,  the rear channel left/right is wired 2ohm stereo or total 4 ohms, and the front left/right is wired 8 ohm how do I determine the load the amp sees.. I guess I just want to learn how to determine the how to figure out the load on the amp... the calculators on this site confuse me..
