these prefabbed boxes out there for 99-up gm extended cabs
(downfire)have either 2 12's or 4 10's with the proper airspace calculated for both wich would you go with..
have a phoenix gold rsd1200.1 1000rms @2ohm
2 500rms 12's or 4 250rms 10's what you do????????
using pioneer w306dvc 12's now in box mentioned above.sounds good but wondering if 4 10's would be better...

That should be fine..an extra .1 cu ft won't make a difference...should it pretty hard.
Though I highly hate the RF Punch subs...cones are weak, tinsel leads have weak connections, for the quality they are overpriced

If you were to go with 4 10's I would get the Infinity perfect dual voice coil subs. They sound clean and you can get them down to 2 ohms with your monoblock setup. ------------- MECP Certified

Infinity reference Series. They are a great bang for the buck in my opinion. I had 2 12's in my 95 s10 and I loved them. Nice, clean, warm, and pretty hard hitting on just 250 watts a piece. 4 10's on 250 watts a piece should absolutely rock. Yes you could go reference series, just make sure they're dual voice coil.

Yes I've heard the Reference series and they are hella bang for the buck...they really should cost more for the sound quality and output you get from them
