Has anyone used the LC-1? I want to controll the level of bass in my vehicle. It sounds like this pre-amp controller goes inline via the RCA's? I normally have used a kicker X3i or similar for bass controll but this vehicle will be different. Thanks

I'm using one, it's inline RCA's, totally passive. Was that the question?

I see. Head's up tho - they're not a super hi-quality design. I'm on the third in about a year. After a few months the pot starts do do some strange things.

Have they been covered under warranty? Do they start making popping noises and such?

Never bothered with the warranty - they're so cheap I just replaced. Never any popping noises, nothing that would do spkr damage, I use it full-range as an Ipod volume & one side would be louder than another, then cut out, strange stuff.

I'll give one a try and see how it goes. Thanks for the info.
