How can I put an auxillary input in my brother's 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD? It has the stock AM/FM radio, no CD player or cassette player. Is there a way or am I forced to install an aftermarket headunit to do it? Thanks in advance.

You can use a FM Modulator.  It will make the Sound Quality bad, however.

we have a direct fm modulator at bestbuy that gives you a pair of rca's it runs on fm modulation but it sends the signal stright into the ant port. I have never used it but I am sure it should work better than the plug and play fm modulator.

I tried a FM modulator, but it sucked. Might have to look into the direct wire in FM modulator. Any other options anyone?

You may be able to use the icruze system. It is not a cheap set up. It could cost you $150 or more with interface cables since you don't have a M-bus cd changer. I have them availble for sell, but it is not really a viable option since a after market stereo is around the same price. Send me a pm if you still want it.  I reccomend upgrading you stereo with a ipod adapter or aux input.  Stock sucks!

yea wow we used to sell that icruze.....pos...i thank god we got rid of that thing. Crazy exspensive and we had a huge issue with it freezing up and just not working. How is it poissible to not have a cd player. You get sooo much more for about $200...spring for it he will like it. what is the issue with getting a cd player?

just looking to save some money since putting in a cd player in a work truck isn't real practical (he's a landscaper). He just wants to hook up his MP3 player in it so he can stop flipping stations.
