just bought 4 10 infinity reference 1052w subs.the box is
a quad 10 downfire for silverado ext. cab that yields 2.30
cubic feet.will i be ok or do i have to worry about air space now.they call for .75 apiece
they are perfect for my application dual 4 ohm 250rms
will be able to bring in 2 ohm load for my pg1200.1 rsd
cea 2006 1000rms...thanx for the help i'm almost totally done.if this dont work i'll just pull the damn seats and wall it,thats how frustrated i am..would like to make it pound without it being physically noticable to the untrained eye

Um...you can just glue blocks of mdf...or even better glue blocks of closed cell foam in the chambers to bring it down to the recommended size.

Wait..is the box 2.3 cu ft per 2 drivers or total??

If it is total than yes it will work fine.

box will be just fine. should be a nice sounding setup. .75ft^3 is under ideal conditions. since you don't have an ideal amount of space to work with, 2.3 total will be fine, you just won't have alot of low end bass, but still a very nice clean sounding bass.

how low do you think it will go?they go down to 25 wich is fine for me.but do you think i'll get that low or be restrictive and if so how much low end will i miss.wanna be able to feel it in my chest.also will this setup be better than 2 12" pioneer w306dvc?

well, you're probably not going to get the deep "feel it in your chest" type of bass i think you're wanting, but still, you should get a very nice punchy bass. i seriously doubt they'll ever reproduce a 25Hz note acurately, at least not in a sealed box. being better than the pioneers depends on what kind of setup they were in.

4" port 8" long with crossfire 400 it wasnt a lot of power but the sides of the car would flex..still have the box i'd put in the back of the silverado if i didnt hace passengers

if you're asking will it sound the same as the chevelle.......probably not. well, the pioneers might play a little lower seeing that each sub will have a little more space, but it's all about what kind of sound you want.
