How does Morel stack up as far as sound quality in comparison to focal specifically and other higher end brands in general? I have been leaning to focals but heard of a bad experience where the adhesive can undone in the summer due to heat. Also found a way I might be able to get morels at cost (no it isn't ebay, or in anyway internet related). any input would be appriciated.

forgot to say, this is for the front stage (and maybe rear fill) in my 1996 mark VIII (not for subs).

Morel is top end. Their drivers compare with the best on the market.

I agree, Morel makes fine speakers. I would not let a instance of a adhesive letting go sway me one way or another. I would look at the facts that surrounded the instance before I made my decision.

I personally use focals. they only people who have bad experiences with them are those who buy the fake ones off the internet. You have to purchase them from a local authorized dealer. Focals are hard to beat.

On the other hand, i hear nothing but great things about morels. In fact, I plan on getting a pair of the 9.1 subs and use them as midbass speakers in my front doors along with my focals. If you can get morels at cost, might you be willing to help me out as well? Ill throw a little incentive your way of course! pm me!
