what amp to get

i need some help on deciding on a amp to get for 4 12w3v2's they are dual 4 ohms so they are gonna be run at 2 ohms. i was thinking a 1000/1 but maybe a earthquake phd5000 i dunno i need some ideas and it would be helpful if peopel have heard the amps becuse it just needs to be loud

Macrom M1A1500D, 1500w rms into 2 ohms.

and that is gonna make the subs hit harder than a 1000/1 or another decent amp?

The 1000/1 is a governed amp, you get 1000w rms and that is it. The Macrom and other amps will give you more, much more in this case.

Read up on regulated and unregulated power supplies. Search is your friend.
