I wouldnt do 10gauge for any amp, go with 8 at least.

I would go with a 4ga or even 2ga. Its overkill, but you'll have no problems with voltage drop and if you ever upgrade your amp you won't have to replace the power wire.

With 4 or 2 gauge you will need a distribution block or a reducer for the Alpine amp to support it's size. I would say go with 4 gauge into a distribution block and from there go 8 gauge to the amp from there. You have full upgrade options then with this method as well you can run multiple amps as well.

Is that one of those real small hatchback types? If so, I'd say anywhere you can fit an amp since it doen't seem like there's a whole lot of room in them.

My alpine amp accepts 4 gauge power and ground cables..... I would do 4 gauge
