Hi all,
My car is a 98 Camry. I was trying install a new stereo which is a pioneer. However, my problem occured before I even connected the audio. I did not know they have the wire horness for sale, so I took out the old radio, disconnected the wires behind it, and start cutting the wires and try to connect them to my mp3/cd player. I first cut the Power (blue w/ yellow stripe) and the Ground (Brown) wire in an attemp to connect them to the mp3/cd player. At this moment, I accidentally had the ground and power touched each other, and they sparkle and made a tiny "pop" sound. So I connect the (blue w/ yellow stripe) and (Brown) cable back to it own ends, and plug the old original radio back in to test if it still works. Now it has NO power and would not turn on, but everything else power wise is working. (such as heat, clock, and lights). I am guessing I blow something, but what would it be and how can I fix it. Thanks in advance for advise.
Rich

Check your owners manual and pep boys will have the fuse. Then go to the nearest shop and buy a harness.
