just wondering all those pallets of used/broken  returned amps  you see om e-bay are they reparable? new to this but willing to learn, thanks mike

They are repairable.. SOme of them... alot of people return amps and things because of broken connections like the RCA's that connect to the board that is a common soldered connection to break.... on the other hand an amp can also beyond repair if a hole portion of the board is fried. I have bought pallets like 20 amps before and fixed a little under half and made decent money. Its up to you...
