My 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback OEM cassette/stereo LED display broke and I'm looking to replace the head unit.  Will later model Honda OEM head units work?  I've seen a few 2000 and newer year OEM Honda CD/Stereos on EBay and thought it might be an affordable option.  I know I'll have to get adapter harnesses, but does anyone know if such a swap will work?  Are all years interchangeable, or will I be limited to the older units (pre 1998)?

Thanks,  Nick

I doubt anyone cares but I'll post a reply to my own post.  I put a used 2000 OEM Honda Accord Stereo in and it works like a charm.  Just used two metra wiring harnesses.  I didn't change the speakers, but they sound better for some reason.  Possibly due to the head unit being a bit more powerful?
