Anyone have a problem with their speaker box sliding around in the back? I decided to glue a strip of velcro to the bottom of the box, it catches the vehicles carpet and no more sliding around. Just a thought....

usually you would fasten your sub box securely with screws or bolts...that makes it so it wont move and also hard to steal...

posted_imageI had that problem with my box sliding in my vehicle, and was trying to protect myself against theives. I have a Ford Explorer, so what I did was used L-brackets to mount the box securely to the floor board. My box sits behind my rear seat, with the subs facing away from the driver towards the rear door. My L-brackets are mounted on the rear of box pointing towards the rear of the vehicle, scewed to the floor board underneath the box. This was a simple fix for me, it last for as long as I needed it. This was sturdy as well as easy to do, and the screws missed all of vehicles vital areas.
