I HAVE 2 12" KICKER CVR'S, A 4-CH. MOCK 1,000WATT AMP, AND A LEFT CHANNEL SUB WOOFER FEED FROM A NEXTAR IN DASH DVD PLAYER. AMP KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN AT HIGHER VOLUMES. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

I would make sure there is adequate power to the amps.

what impedance are you running the subs at?    most 4 channel amps will not take less then a 4 ohm load bridged and 2 ohm stereo

Do you have the subs wired to each channel or bridged on 2. or 1 sub brideged per 2 channels?


need to know how you have it wired first to help you, and what impedance you woofer are.

take a meter and place on lead on your amp ground and another on your deck ground and read resistance. if its more than .5 ohms you have a problem.
