rca problem

i am putting a 6 channel amp in a car but the head unit only has 1 set of rca's and i need 3 sets. what can i use to boost the singnal comming from the 1 set of rca's and split the singnal so that i can hook all 3 sets of rca's up to the amp. would that me a line driver or somethin else?

"Y" adapters, that's all... no additional anything electronic will be necessary.

but if i get y adapters and split the singnal 3 times isnt it gonna be a preaty weak singnal? they have to make somethin to boost the singnal level dont they?

If you use y-adapters, then all the cables are connected in parallel. This means that voltage remains the same, and there's not a noticable signal loss. Though it's possible you may experience a small voltage drop, it wouldn't make a big enough difference to justify a line driver. Just set your gains and be done with it. If you desire more control over your audio system, consider upgrading your deck.
