So I had a friend come into my shop the other day and said his Dual In-dash would turn the volume all the way up when he first turned it on. It use to automaticly start at 0 now it starts at max... anyone know why this is or what to do? thanks in advance

Dual is a very low-quality brand so it may have just broken...

ok the dual radio is anything like the jensen adjust the volume and while the volume display is still on hold the audio button you should hear some beeps and thats that...im pretty sure i had a customer with the same problem but it was with a jensen...

yah I know its a pos but we sell alot of those at bestbuy. Thanks prosound I will give that a try.

if that doesnt work try pushing the volume knob, cause this customer had the double din which didn't have rotary knob so try them both

I work at Best Buy and most Dual moving face decks stop moving by about 2 months...

I would probably buy Duraband before I buy Dual.

Yep, at our bestbuy it stopped moving after 3 months, it was a trooper! posted_image
