I have a Kicker KX300.4 4 channel amp that i am planning to run to 4 component/coaxial speakers.  I've been looking on the internet, but all i've been able to find are sub configurations.  Looking at the sub configs it seems like it would be a 2 ohm load on the amp, is this correct?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis Martin

I forgot to mention the speakers would be 4 ohms.

When you are running a set of component speakers, you usually have an external crossover network that goes with them.  By the time you wire the whole thing up, you generally get a net impedance of about 4 ohms.  Some are a bit more, some are a bit less.  Either way, your amp should produce about what its rated for.
