Hey Guys,

I'm gettting what seems to me as head unit noise. In cd mode I can hear the cd player loading the disc and spinning through the subs. The subs jump or react to those actions of my cd player. I thought maybe it was my amp ground so I changed it's location, still makes the noise. Power wire and rca's are not running together. I'm thinking maybe running a new ground for my headunit? Or getting new Rca cables. I believe my Rca cables run with my remote wire, would that cause this noise? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Na I think it's a pioneer deck.  Which means probably blew an internal fuse on the rca wire.  Strange how they put a fuse INSIDE the radio that requires complete dissassembly to get at.

Actually it's a Panasonic head unit. The music still plays, but when taking a cd out, putting a cd in, and while the cd is loading, all these noises can be heard through the subs.

Sounds like grounding issues.  Check the sticky posts.

Turn down the gain on the amp(s), reground the head unit. Sounds to me like there is a problem in the actual cd player itself. If you still have noise after this, try a different cd player.
