I have recently aquired an 05 Rockford Fosgate P400.2 and within 3 months of owning it the left channel no longer works. The right channel still works great but would like to have my left channel back. Can anyone maybe tell me what is wrong or maybe point me in the direction of a schematic diagram?

what is the problem with the left channel?   DC voltage output?   distorted output?     And have you opened up to look for any visible problems?

the left channel does not put out any sound at all and i have not checked voltage output as there is no multi-meter here.  i have opened it up to look for any visible problems but found nothing wrong.

First of all what is the amp running and how are they wired?

If you are running two speakers in stereo, then i suggest first flipping the left and right rca inputs

-if the problem stays the same then it is in the amp or speaker.
-Then do the same thing with the speaker outputs. If the problem stays the same then it is the speaker, if it switches sides then it is the amp.

-if the dead speaker swithes sides when you flip the rca's then the problem is in the hu or rca cables

they were wired in stereo(i have them wired parallel on the right side right now) and i did try switching both rca's and speaker wires with no success either way only the right side of the amp works.
