I'm helping my cousin hooh up a amp (American Legacy) in his car. where does the remote start wire connect to on the radio? I don't see a spot to connect it on the radio. The radio is a kenwood and has the RCA inputs. I am also having problem locating a place to ground the circuit. He is installing this stuff in his trunk/hatch area, in a 96-97? Chevy Blazer. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

The remote wire should be hooked up to the blue/white off radio harness. You can also put it to the 12VOLT ACC WIRE (RED). You should ground the amp to a bare metal surface as close to the amp as possible.

i personally use the red wire because i have seen alot of kenwood radios come straight out of the box with dead remote outs and antenna outs. as far as the ground you want to ground directly to the body. you want to check for the gas tank, gas lines, brake lines, etc. then you want to sand the paint off the place to be used as a ground then use a short self tapping screw and ring terminal. good luck and hope this helps.
