Alright this is going to be my first box(<---NOob) Its going into a 94 honda accord coupe.  SPec sheet says street bass 4c.f. tuned to 40hz. I was wondering if i need bracing for this sub and if 3/4mdf is fine and for face double layer 3/4? Also can anyone tell me the dimensions of the box and the dimensions of the port rectangular slot. thanks

3/4 is fine and double for the face is a bonus.  Use plenty of bracing...it doesn't have to be pretty, just well-braced.  Bracing isn't seen, it just does its job behind the scenes.  Build your box to fit your vehicle, which means that nobody can tell you what dimensions to use.  Look over to the left under the Car Audio help section for help on calculating air space for given dimensions.  For porting, if you have to ask for help you are not ready for prime time.  It would be best for you to follow the manufacturer's recommendation...or spend the time learning how to use WinISD so that you can get it right.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
