does it mess up the airflow to have the height go from 13 3/4" to 15"? because the very back of my trunk is only 13 3/4 big... and im making an enclosure for some jl 12w6v2's. recomended height 14"

You can make the enclosure any oddball shape that fits the car.  There isn't any airflow to worry about, but be sure to leave a little room behind the driver for voice coil cooling.
