How do you pros think these will work for front staging in my Jeep Wrangler? Click on the pics for larger version. Thanks!

Nobody? These are right on the floor underneath the front bottom edge of each door. They seem to be aimed up somewhat. I'm just concerned that they aren't as far forward as most kick panel speakers. Also; the enclosure looks a bit small for correct air volume for a 5-1/4" driver. Any thoughts? Thanks!
They may be worth a try, so long as you don't use those profile speakers they have in the pictures.
Keep in mind that most coaxial speakers work better in infinite baffle set ups, but you may be able to achieve better sound than what you already have. You may find that adding some sort of deading material within the pods may help too.
I'd guess your sound stage will be low and separated, but hey, it may sound good.

Thanks for the reply. I too felt that the soundstage may be too low and seperated. I had considered putting my Diamond comps in these with the tweeter mounted a bit higher onto the door. Don't know if that would help. You also brought up a good point about coaxials liking infinite baffles. I currently run 5-1/4" comps in the dash locations with no real enclosure. I stuffed dacron around the rear of the speakers to help, but it's really more of an infinite baffle. I'm now wondering if coaxials would be better in the dash locations. Thanks!
