It's a car with 4 wheels, right?
That's about how many suggestions we could give you... How about a hint as to what kind of car it is, and how much power you have in your system?
------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

How much money are you willing to spend. You can try altornatorparts.com, thats where I got mine and they have one for the 3.1 Malibu. It puts out 220 amps cold and 170 amps hot.

Your amps might be rated for 3000 watts, but I would question whether or not you are actually getting that. At least until you upgrade the big 3 and get another alernator. Assuming 14.4 volts with the car on, you would have to produce 208 amps to achieve 3000 watts. Which you might get for a second, till your stored power is used, and your alternator is left with providing it again.
Remember, amps X volts = watts.
