I have an Integra with a 4 speaker setup and was planning to go with these 6.5 speakers https://www.crutchfield.com/S-oB2Pe0EXErc/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?I=1086012I&tab=review#Tab and my question is... should I put the same speakers for front and rear or should I just get a midbass speaker for the rear speakers coz someone told me it's not a good idea to have tweets in the rear if you want good imaging...

What's everyone's suggestions? FYI, I'm also putting subs in the trunk as well... thanks in advance.

Your friend is not correct. You want the full frequency spectrum in the rear as well. Front imaging will be achieved by attenuating the rears enough so that the sound appears to be coming from about windshield level. In other words, the rears are played just loud enough to "lift" the front soundstage upwards, but not draw it back toward the rear.
