hey i need some amp suggestions for the alpine 12 type x? iam thinking jl 1000/1 for each onesince i plan on running two in a sealed box..any ideas? its goign into a suburban

I would say the Alpine MRD-1005

My friend has a couple Type X's with a 1005 on each...it wangs pretty hard and sounds damn good.

thorw those bad boys in a ported box and hook 2 macrom amps up to them they will pound the crap out of them and will sound great and you will love it otherwise hook them up to a zapco x9 amp and run them at 2 ohms and with will sound great
