I have a Delco cd player that came out of a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to install this radio into a 1992 Pontiac Firebird. I have researched a bit and believe that the body computer tells the unit to actually turn on? If so, is this something I can pull from the car and install in the firebird and make work? Or is this just going to be too difficult to do and I should just go aftermarket?

It wont work... Get an aftermarket deck for the '92, you'll thank yourself in the end.
