i want to keep stock sirius unit on a 2005 dodge ram quadcab and put in an aftermarket sirius ready radio. Will the plugs match? also by swithing radios will i be able to see song info on the screen? The stock nav/radio unit doesn't show the info.

On the OE readio...I believe the serius part is inside the radio, not plugged into the back. Just the antenna is in the back of the readio..?

The sirrius is behind the rear seat, at least on my quad cab. I have askes about this and the best i would be able to do is possobly reuse the stock antenae. To do this i you would need a 2 to 1 adapter for the older 2 wire antenae on our rams. I have been holding off because i am still working out the details on a double din install.
