There are two wires labeled "interior lighting systems" coming out of the factory wiring harness, one green the other WHITE/ green.
I have been instructed to tape them off but doing so leaves me with no dash lights. All of the fuses under the hood and under the dash are intact, also, there is no ORANGE / white wire on the sony stereo harness to hook them up to.
Hooking them up to the accessories lead or the ignition lead only blows the fuses. The WHITE/ green wire is pulling 28mV with the dimmer switch turned all the way up, the green wire only 2mV.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

just trying to hook up a stereo but the two lines labeled as "interior lighting systems" don't have a home. If they are not connected to anything, I don't have any dash lights(instrument cluster or ac backlighting).
