Im new to car audio and my question is how do you wire two amps to power one sub. I have one 800 watt kicker sub and one 400 watt crunch amp. my plan is to buy another 400 watt crunch amp and run them together is this possible?

Is the sub DVC?  Then yes, it's possible.  Otherwise, no it's not possible with those amps.

I wouldnt bother trying to strap or combine those amps on that sub, the diffrece will not be worth the output.    sell the crunch amp and buy a single amp from a more repuitable brand that will actually produce the 800 watts your sub can handle
